high school reunionLater in life, like many gods, Yhwh was a lot milder than the ferocious God of the Hebrews we all knew from high school . He was self-conscious about his thinning hair, about his pearly paunch, about the glasses he had had to buy from the Divine Optometrist of all known universes. Soon, it was rumored, he wouldn't come to his followers unless they put their heads down when they asked him to. He got scatterbrained, and soon the poor things were building him synagogues, churches and mosques, which everyone agreed was too many words for the same thing, not to mention much too much for just one god.
